    Younger Generations Turning to Social Media for Financial Advice

    Over one-third (34%) of Millennials and Generation Z Americans say that a lack of financial guidance is inhibiting to their ability to prepare for retirement, according to a survey released today from the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). Millennials reported feeling the most unprepared when it comes to their futures (38%), with about 30% of Gen Z respondents feeling unprepared.

    Gen Z Wants Credit Perks but Leery of Debt

    Alliance Data Systems Corporation, a global provider of data-driven marketing, loyalty and payment solutions, released findings from a national study that assesses payment wants, habits and attitudes of Gen Z consumers. The results show that while the majority want traditional credit card rewards and perks – 86% want cash back on everyday purchases; 84% want rewards that never expire; and 83% want to earn bonus rewards on certain spend categories – 78% admit they are also afraid of assuming debt.
